Privacy Policy

This document constitutes the Privacy Notice for the purposes of the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the "LFPDP") and the provisions that emanate from it or are related to it. This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information provided by you to the CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE SC, hereinafter CITMER in its capacity as Responsible. For the purposes of the provisions of the LFPDP and in particular in its Article 17, you declare and acknowledge (I) that this Privacy Notice has been made known to you by the Responsible Party, (II) you have read, understood and agreed to the terms exposed in this Privacy Notice, for which you grant your consent regarding the processing of your Personal Data for the purposes of the LFPDP and other applicable legislation. In the event that the Personal Data collected includes sensitive or financial Personal Data, by signing the corresponding contract, whether in printed format, or using electronic means and their corresponding processes for the formation of consent, for example, but not limited to , by supplying Personal Data through the dialog windows, or viewing and browsing terms and conditions on the screen, acts will be carried out that constitute the express consent of the owner in terms of the second paragraph of article 8 of the LFPDP and other applicable legislation and (III) that you grant your consent for CITMER or its Managers to transfer Personal Data to national or foreign third parties, on the understanding that the treatment that said third parties give to your Personal Data must comply with the provisions of this Privacy Notice.

In the event that the Holder does not oppose the terms of this Privacy Notice within the following 30 days in which it was made available, its content will be considered agreed and consented, in terms of the third paragraph of article 8 of the LFPDP. The consent of the Owner may be revoked at any time by the latter without retroactive effects being attributed to it, in the terms and in accordance with the procedures established later for this purpose in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

Notwithstanding any provision of this Privacy Notice, the Owner acknowledges that their consent will not be required for the processing of Personal Data by the Responsible Party or third parties in any of the cases indicated in Article 10 of the LFPDP.

Responsible for the processing of your personal data: CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE SC (hereinafter "CITMER") with address at Boulevard Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 233 floor 3 Col. Purposes of personal data processing CITMER collects, uses, stores or transfers your personal data, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to carry out the following:

For the creation, study, analysis, updating, and conservation of the clinical file. Also, for billing and collection for services. Studies, records, statistics and analysis of health information related to:

Studies for statistical, demographic and research purposes.
Know the needs of the patient group to which it belongs (people affected by premature birth)

CITMER may collect your personal data in different ways, that is, when you provide it to us directly, through the website, social networks, email, events, at CITMER facilities, or when we obtain it through other sources that are permitted by law.

You can stop receiving informative or promotional messages via email from CITMER, as long as you let us know in accordance with the necessary mechanisms for the cancellation of these shipments, as established in this Privacy Notice.

CITMER may use your personal data for other purposes, as long as said purposes are compatible and can be considered analogous to the previous ones.

Your personal data will be processed only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described and/or in accordance with what is established by the applicable legal provisions.

Security of personal data

CITMER will implement the security, technical, administrative and physical measures necessary to protect your personal data and prevent its damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or treatment.

Only authorized personnel, who have complied with and observed the corresponding confidentiality requirements, may participate in the processing of your personal data. Authorized personnel are prohibited from allowing access by unauthorized persons and using your personal data for purposes other than those established in this Privacy Notice. The confidentiality obligation of the people who participate in the processing of your personal data subsists even after the relationship with CITMER has ended.

Communications and Transfers of personal data

As part of the Association's own operations and in order to comply with the purposes described; CITMER may share with third parties, national or foreign, some or all of your personal data. Said third parties may be affiliated or subsidiary organizations of CITMER; external professional advisors and/or other service providers who act as agents in the name and on behalf of CITMER.

CITMER will ensure, through the signing of agreements and/or the adoption of other binding documents, that said third parties maintain adequate security, administrative, technical and physical measures to safeguard your personal data, as well as that said third parties only use your personal data for the purposes for which they were contracted and in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

CITMER will not assign, sell or transfer your personal data to third parties not related to CITMER, without your prior consent. However, CITMER may transfer your personal data in the cases provided for in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Rights that correspond to you

You as the owner of personal data may exercise before the CITMER Data Protection Committee the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO Rights) regarding the processing of your personal data. Likewise, you may revoke, at any time, the consent you have granted and that is necessary for the processing of your personal data. As a reference, the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition are described below:

Through your right of access, you may request to be informed what type of personal data is being processed by CITMER, the origin of said data and the communications that have been made with them.

By virtue of the right of rectification, you can request to correct or complete the personal data that is incorrect or incomplete and that is in the hands of CITMER to make a change or correction to your personal data and this fact is only known to you.

When your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, you may request that it be canceled if it is still kept in the CITMER databases. The cancellation process will be preceded by a blocking period through which your data will only be stored for a period of time, equivalent to the limitation period of the actions that gave rise to the processing of your personal data or the period established by law. There are cases in which personal data cannot be canceled by law.

You may oppose the processing of your personal data, when there is a legitimate cause for it, even having previously expressed your consent for such processing.

Procedure for the exercise of ARCO rights
